When you walk into the first session with your ideal client it feels like heaven. You LOVE doing therapy! You are a licensed mental health professional, ethical, well trained, but you don’t like being confined to the CBT box and are much more experientially and somatically-focused. You see your work through a trauma-lens and help individuals, teens, and couples with the impact of trauma in their lives. The problem is, in your current situation, you don’t get to have those kinds of experiences the way you want… and it is truly starting to wear you down.
You’ve thought about private practice, but the truth is- You want the freedom to see clients in a private practice setting without the pressure of running a business.
You get excited about talking to people, sharing what you do, and even enjoy giving a talk to the community from time to time; but you don’t want to be bogged down with accounting, bookkeeping, business planning, and search engine optimization! You’d really love to find a private practice where you made more money than the agency you are working at, but even more than that, you’d like to feel like you were a part of a truly awesome community, where you are valued and respected for your unique talents. You want to be excited about seeing your coworkers, be able to get support or a good belly laugh between sessions, excited about the clients you are working with, and endless opportunities to collaborate and bring quality mental health services to our community.
General Information:
This is a W2 employee part-time or full-time position for a licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or PsyD). Benefits include flexible schedule, stipend for professional development, health care (full-time), dental and vision care (full-time), life insurance (full-time), and retirement plan (401K employer match). Harper Therapy is looking for someone who loves to work with trauma and couples, but is open to see other clients as well. We take care of the office space, provide outstanding administrative support, all the bells and whistles. We need for you to show up and take bold action to make a difference in our community. Our practice currently services adults, couples, and teens in the North Tampa, Lutz, and Land O Lakes area. We have clients travel from Zephyrhills, Dade City, Brooksville, Trinity, St Pete, and beyond.
